Dear Mrs Gerard, I am writing to thank you for the invaluable assistance you provided me during my college search process. I am especially thankful for all those last minute revisions you provided, when I was really feeling stressed. To date I have gotten in to UCONN and American University, and have been accepted into the honors program at both. Furthermore, at UCONN I received a scholarship totaling $14,000 over four years and the Presidential Scholarship from America, which is worth $27,000 a year. Karen, [ ] visited both GW and AU last week and absolutely fell in love with AU. He already put in his deposit and I can’t tell you how happy he is. The Honors overnight was a huge success. Hi Karen, [ ] selected Widener because he really liked the football coach and the tough program he implied that he ran. He felt that he needed that type of discipline to help him in school. [ ] selected Drexel because of its downtown big city location. Both kids are glad they’ll be in the same city area and, also, glad they’ll be in the same city as Grandma (who is thrilled).
